MADE FOR REAL DOCUMENTS

Turn PDF tables into usable spreadsheet data

A workbook makes it easier to sort and review extracted information. Source layouts affect how well tables convert.

01

Bank statements

Extract transaction tables for sorting and reconciliation. Check dates, amounts and decimal separators against the original statement.

02

Reports and invoices

Move structured rows into Excel without retyping every cell. Merged cells and irregular layouts may need cleanup.

03

Scanned tables

Use OCR to recognize printed data in scans. Clear, straight pages give recognition a better starting point than blurred photographs.

QUESTIONS, ANSWERED

PDF to Excel Converter Online: common questions

Can I convert a scanned PDF to Excel?

Yes. The converter can use OCR to read scanned pages. Choose Always use OCR under Read scanned pages to recognize text on all pages. By default, the converter uses automatic OCR when needed.

Can I convert a bank statement PDF to Excel?

Yes. Upload the statement and choose your worksheet options. Verify transaction amounts, dates, signs and totals in the downloaded workbook before relying on the extracted data.

Can I put PDF tables on a single Excel sheet?

Yes. Select Put all tables on one sheet to combine extracted tables. Leave it unchecked to let the converter organize the workbook into separate sheets.

Will every row and column match the PDF exactly?

Not always. A PDF describes a page layout rather than spreadsheet cells. Multi-line entries, merged cells and complex tables can require corrections in Excel after conversion.

What file format will I download?

The output is an Excel XLSX workbook. You can open it in Excel or another compatible spreadsheet application. The workspace previews the source PDF; inspect the converted workbook after downloading it.
